Mmmmmmm, cat. And cookies.

Look what the UPS guy dropped off this morning:

That is right folks, I've jumped on the med school train. A few years late, yes... but better late than never right? Besides, what else can you do (that isn't research) with a science degree? (rhetorical question). I'm looking at applying in 2014, and (if by some miraculous miracle) I am accepted, that'll be the class of 2019. Holy crap, I'll be going on twenty-eight by then. HOLY CRAP. HOLY.

So that will be the fun-sucker of my summer. Also, I'm waiting to hear back from the clinic I worked in last summer to see if they can hire me again; if that works out, boo work, but YAY MONEY! that will be used to pay off OSAP loans booooo...

Sigh, trade-offs.

But! I do have a (mental) list of things I hope to tackle during the summer. One of them is to do some baking, and so I baked some cookies today...

Pillsbury. I know, it's cheating. But it was simple, which was ideal since most of my attention was focused towards the TV anyway (SENS BEAT THE HABS HAHAHA - normally I wouldn't be rooting for them, but I have the Sens taking the series in 7).

Another item on my mental list is to perfect my covers and finally share them with the world! They aren't great, but then again, a lot of covers on YouTube aren't either, so yolo why not just throw it out there and see what happens?
